That's a very complicated issue. Your best bet is to take a good book on the construction of acoustic guitar - the one by Cumpiano Natelson and is particularly recommended - and read it first. Here is a good selection of books: http://elderly.com/books/cats/601.htm You will need many tools, and some of the tools such as tweezers you will need a large number them, since when you are pasting the kerfing you need to clip around the perimeter of the guitar body at the same time. You will need deep throat clips to glue the bridge. You will need to spool clamps to secure the top and back. You will need both sides to buy pre-curved or you will need a bending iron ($ 180 alone). You need a dremel tool with router base attachments and make referrals to the binding and purfling. You will need tons of woodworking tools to shape the neck (spokeshave), holes in the drill press head (), slots (chisels), enter and shape the frets (fret hammer and files), and many more. Besides all this you will need a mold that conforms to body shape you choose. It is, quite frankly, a daunting project. You can shortcut the process to some extent by purchasing a kit. Martin and Stewart-MacDonald sells kits that include all the parts you need, including pre-bent sides and a pre-fretboard cracks that saves time and without problems: https: / / www.martinguitar.com/1833/catalog.php?cat=Kits% 20Parts% 20% 26% 20tools http://www.stewmac. shop with / / Kits.html Good luck.
