How can I reduce Acoustic Guitar Pickup feedback and white noise?
Hi, I just bought a Dean Markley Pro Mag SC-1 Acoustic Guitar Pickup and when I plugged it on my amp, I heard a lot of feedback and white noise. The amp has to be turned up much because there volume controls pickup so this could be contributing to the problem. I love the sound I'm getting, but the constant buzz is a huge disappointment if there is any way to fix this, or even decrease hi sound wont have to return them. Thanks so much!
Makes ure you are not sitting very close ot the amplifier. Keep some distance between you and good amp ... The more you stay with an amplifier .... more feedback you get, because if the pickups. Jimi Hendrix was famous for doing this. ... Also make sure your guitar cable is securely attached to your well. This could be it too. I hope this helps ... good luck
