Can I re-string a guitar that came with nylon G, B, and E strings with all steel strings? ?

For starters, keep in mind this is a really, really, REALLY cheap guitar (Made in Korea!) with a plastic back. However ... I just wanted to know for reference future that I should come across a great deal on a used Yamaha or something, I have seen a lot of them and already has a model student with nylon strings, but the sound was very soft that I gave to my cousin, so I went electric. Now I'm looking to go back and really get into playing acoustic, so I'm wondering if will effect the tone, tuners, bridge, neck, etc. In other words: Are there any possible adverse effects on the guitar that may be irreversible (in terms of damage), or there any reason I should be aware as I should just keep the three nylon strings on it?

Ach no! You can not put steel strings on a guitar nylon. The bass strings (D, A, E) are still of nylon, but are involved with the steel to make the rope thinner. A nylon rope really designed to reproduce the notes would be too thick to have any kind of support or be practical. If the classic is a tensor (which should have a nut on the top or bottom inside the neck of the guitar), then it may be possible, but I would not take the risk. * more classical guitars nylon has a tensor, for strings steel would put too much pressure on the neck and arch it permanently, if not cause cracking, breaking, bridge breaking, cracking, detachment, etc. In other words - Buy a steel string acoustic. These are easier to play for the casual player anyway. Steel strings have a tensor, narrow neck, larger bodies, and bridges with the pins to fix the ropes, and are equipped to deal with the tension steel.
