If a cellist Play electric guitar or acoustic?

Hi, I play cello and probably will be starting guitar lessons in the fall. because my experience in the cello, acoustic or electric will be easier for me to take? Oh, and I know for bass would be the easiest, but I sing well I want to be able to sing and play. electric or acoustic would you recommend? an acoustic electric or normal? what kind do you like? i thank you! to play a mixture of things.
