Acoustic Guitar Shipping Boxes

How should a brand new playable Taylor 110e acoustic guitar being out of the box?
I just ordered my brand new Taylor 110e Acoustic Electric Guitar online when shipped and it seems as if the action is a little high and there is less wear moved toward the top of the guitar. Do I just need to play it for a few weeks so that it will "break-in, or is this a problem that I should contact the shipper or about Taylor? Thank you all very much
He will not break in. You will have to do something. Taylor $ 650 (which is usually a very good brand) should play close to perfect right out of the box without fret buzz. You have two different problems, though. Action is really individual taste. What is too high for some, is too low for others. I think you will have to adapt. You can take the guitar to your local music store to get worked on. However, reducing the action will make the buzz fret worse. I think you should call the sender and inform them on the fret buzz and see what they say. Tell them what the buzz is unacceptable and you want another guitar without tinnitus. I just do not think it is reasonable to expect a certain quality of a guitar Taylor $ 650.
