wtf is a baritone guitar?!?

I came across an ad in Guitar Player magazine for guitars Danelectro Longhorn model, low and "baritones." I imagine that a baritone guitar is between a guitar and bass, but it just confused the hell out of me. I went to the site of damage, and really found nothing. Does anyone have information about this strange beast?

I have one. It is a 30 "scale (average between a bass and guitar). It basically the same as taking a 7-string guitar, stretching to 4.5 inches, and cut the high E string. It takes a while to learn to play, tuned BEADGBE (as well as the 6-string bass a 7-strings), but you can adjust it however probably easier to play in BEADF # B ways to keep chord if you are not familiar w / a 7-facility chain.
