What are the dimensions of a down?
I want dimensions for the body body head to head and length scale
This could really be a log response, but I'll try to be brief. There really is no set of dimensions for any one unless you are not providing applications correct dimension. Length of the game is really only "stone" dimension, and this can vary anywhere from 26 "to 38". Only for clarity, length scale is the working distance "of the strings from the nut to the bridge saddles, then an additional amount called compensation to allow the down to play in tune with itself. The length scale determines the placement of friction, for the frets will be removed on a scale of 34 " then they are in a 30 "scale. The dimensions of the body, the body can be of any size and shape, provided you have enough space for the hardware ... even with the probe. The "body size" headstock will do nothing but confuse you as it will vary with the size of the scale, body size, and the size of the head.
