Bad feedback on my new Acoustic-Electric Guitar.?
I bought an Ovation CSE44-HB from Guitar Center today. I really like the guitar, but when I turn it in my amplifier feedback I get very bad when I hold a note if the amplifier is turned on (depending on the volume settings in the EQ and amp. Moreover, the low, middle and end to slightly higher levels feedback). The note also begins to hum after a while. The worst is Feeback on 5 and 6 strings. Feedback also causes the other strings to vibrate when I did not choose them. Moreover, the further amps I am the least feedback I get ... and when I'm not facing the amp, but it is obvious ... although the problem is that I still get feedback. I'm not using an acoustic amplifier, but the guy Guitar Center said that no matter when I buy it ... But I read somewhere that this could be the problem. Are there any pedal or attach them or something that can fix this? Is the guitar problem?
You should be able to do this work. You have two problems, noise and feedback. Buzzing: That sounds like a matter of string more than anything. You could have the wrong size gauges on guitar. Or at least not the ideal size. I would recommend going to a light. I found that most Ovations cope very well with Light Gauge .12 -. 53 Another thing is the action. Guitar Center is great at doing one thing for his guitar before or when you buy it. They just get it from the factory and put it on the wall. This means that the action is probably higher than it should be. Or take it back to Guitar Center and ask them to lower the action to define the size specific size or take it to a local guitar shop and plans to spend $ 45 for the configuration of thing. It makes a big difference and will get rid Zoom feedback. There may be all kinds of reasons this is happening. First off, make sure you have connected or anything else happening in the room. All microphones or instruments or anything that has an output is turned off. Now you do not want to push the volume you from your pre-amplifier your guitar, you want all the power comes from the amplifier. That means keeping the volume on your guitar always at or below 12 'o clock (middle).
