Bass Guitar Essentials
What do you think is the most essential part of a band?
It is the voice? Drums? Guitar? Bass guitar? I think it's the guitar. Is what makes a song a song. You can lack bass (White Stripes), you may miss vocals (Pelican), heck, sometimes you can drums lack (I can not think of an example), but you can not miss guitar.
The main composer. Jimi Hendrix, Jaco Pastorius, Keith Moon and Sam Cooke would join, and that would suck if they were not playing good music.
