Bass Guitar Frequency Range

You can use a bass amp as a guitar amp with success?
If a bass amp enables more often then not would this in turn means that an electric guitar would also benefit from the scale most often?
Depends on what you mean successfully. If you just want to play alone in the basement of one thing or another, or in a garage band, a bass amp would work decently with some EQ. Nothing more serious, such as recording or gigs require a real guitar amplifier. As a bass amp can cover the necessary frequencies for guitar, is not designed to cover these types of sounds in great volume. The only way an electric guitar would benefit greatly from a bass amp is if you are playing with a low setting, heavy gauge strings, or through an effect that lowers the sound. Even then, however, I still recommend a guitar amp.
