bass guitar modifications
I'm looking for some active bass pickups?

I have a Peavey Grind BXP 4-string. I love the way it feels and plays, but I'm getting tired of the same annoyed tone. Instead of buying a new low I thought it would be better if I just bought some new trucks. I've played several basses at Guitar Center, which has active pickups, and I liked the sound them. So anyone have any suggestions for some good pickups to fit my bass without modification, if possible?

I recommend EMG pickups. I put them all my basses. Very simple to install. I'm not familiar with this low, but go here and check: www.emginc.com They are expensive, but probably the only thing most important thing you can do to improve tone.
