Beginner Guitar Drills

Guitar Tips for beginners?
I finally bought a guitar after postponing forever and I love to play. The only problem is that nobody around me enjoy my "masterpieces". Any tips on getting started, training, tips on memorizing chords better., nothing of all the people out there on the ground Internet has to offer that I'm all ears (or eyes in this case). Happy St Patties Day everyone!
I disagree with others: if you really love guitar, play: it is a very satisfying, versatile. My best advice is this (it's a technique I use to heat frequently): choose the alternative E string low as fret 1, 2, 3 and 4 frets in sequence. Then do the same thing with the A string, then the D, and so on. Once you get the E to begin back down, but this time going on 2, 3, 4 and 5 frets that order. Keep switching up to go down and sliding the pattern on each end, until you go as high as you can. He'll kick your ass at first, but concentrate on getting the plain, clear and even, and eventually you'll be a player actually good.
