Classical Guitar University
Please tell me, what was your experience with the CCM as?
I'm trying to enter the CCM (College-Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati), and would love to hear from anyone who has attended CCM, or is studying, especially for classical guitar, but someone's advice is appreciated. As you as faculty, facilities, people, and overall experience. And anyone who has knowledge of the CCM is welcome to comment too.
I do not personally attended CCM, but by all accounts is a wonderful school with an excellent faculty. Two of my instructors voice (in the same university small!) Were graduates of CCM, and returned there after a year of teaching at my university. Kathleen Battle, a well-known classical singer, graduated with both a Bachelor and (I think) a Masters in Music Education from the CCM. Go for it! And good luck!
