Very talented Electric Light Orchestra have released their latest album titled On the third day and Wow! Good.
Refreshing, this was one of the CDs that I was able to just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from beginning to end.
On The Third Day is a nicely varied, mix of 13 tracks that are very well written and brilliantly performed songs by these clearly talented. Most of the songs show much the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Seemingly drawing from what I can only imagine are their own personal experiences. In different points touching on the most real emotions of love and pain of relationships can certainly be heard.
Global on the third day is an outstanding release. Very possibly Electric Light Orchestra is the best so far. Really sensational from beginning to end. If you're even mildly into Rock music you'll enjoy this CD.
While this entire CD is really very good the truly standout tunes are track 3 - Oh No Not Susan, age 8 - In The Hall Of The Mountain King, and track 13 - interludes.
My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [... as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 13 - Ocean Breakup / King Of The Universe. Great track!
