What is a quick way to record electric guitar?

I'm trying to write a song with more than one guitar part, then I I want to be able to hear a part, while I play another, to hear how it sounds. For example, my best solution now is to play on my amp on a cassette / Recorder and record the music to cassette to play speeds. Obviously, this is not a great solution, so I'm looking for help. I have immediate access to a computer or laptop so I do not have that option. Any ideas, thank you!
