Guitar Anatomy

The new guitar from Epiphone Prophecy Collection features four distinct shapes that all share common and unique features. In the style of guitar, the model or is an Epiphone Prophecy EX (Gibson USA) or Epiphone Prophecy FX (Original Floyd Rose Tremolo). Common features include highly figured quilted maple tops, 24 fret Speed Taper satin necks, jumbo frets (neck locks anatomy), single blade inlays, Epiphone new strap, hand-stained colors and eye popping Pearl knobs. This is because each one is customized. All Prophecy Guitars have bound bodies and necks. Plenty of research, design and testing went into this beautiful guitar during the two to three years to make it both very affordable and playable, as you will not believe.
For an Epiphone made in China, I very impressed. The fretwork is really well done and the tones sounded great. Complete and fretboard not want to look ugly. The action has not yet been completely messed up, and they have not been professionally designed. Most enjoyable were the 2 EMG-Equipped entities, compared with the Dirty Fingers pickups LP from the DF to be slightly Woofy.
On the negative side, if you're not a player Gibson, if you're not used to LPs and SGs, they may feel strange to you. I certainly found the SG neck a little heavy and LP's single-cutaway uncomfortable. The weight of this guitar is compatible with most guitars Gibson SG and Les Paul. They are heavy. And that one meat, at least for me.
The fretboard dye used is not the greatest and the game enough, a small amount of finishing the neck has been reported to scrub themselves with too much play. That would be a problem for me since I am one of those practitioners marathon.
As for value for money, well, I have to say, for prices ranging from 550-700 U.S. Dollars. It is realistic to say that the market is getting flooded with fantastic guitars in this price range. My experiences with the guitars in this price range, at least, prove to me that this is a decent guitar and is well worth more than it costs. It feels and plays like a Gibson or this If an Epiphone guitar. If your vibe is why this line of guitar, I assure you, you will soon see why I say for the price that surpasses most other guitars for several hundred dollars, or more money.
