Guitar Bend Vibrato
guitar fretboard?
I was recently given the old guitar my father's acoustic, which had the same strings for 30 years ... what I'm obviously change, but the fretboard is really difficult ... There are lots of tiny grooves and holes that make bending and vibrato very difficult ... How can I make the fretboard smoother?
you should get a new place. one made of rosewood is traditional. Go to a local instrument dealer and see if they have a workshop repair or if they know of one. But before you decide to try to fill the grooves with polyeurathane and lightly sand. That probably will not achieve the result desired, but it's worth a shot before you pay to have it replaced.
