How do I get this finish guitar?
I recently saw a guitar with a finish that I really liked and would like to recreate on a guitar who will be working soon. The body guitar was made of a dark wood, but what caught my attention was the finish was not brilliant, was not shining him. I can only describe it as more or less like a matte finish. I was wondering if someone could tell me how to achieve that effect on a body guitars? Thank you.
The finish can be purchased in matte. Try Macdonald Stewart or Luthiers Mercantile (LMI) on-line. KTM 9 in LMI is based on water, if you want to go that path.
