It is an acoustic guitar to get insurance on a flight?
I want to bring my guitar with me on my journey to Jersey to Michigan. Is my guitar will be safe in case a regular guitar unpadded? Or are they going to throw it around and damage it? It is a $ 700 Takamine I bought a few months ago, I hate to risk their lives!
I certainly do not get a nice Takamine on a flight in an unpadded case. Some years ago I was allowed to take my Ibanez and a / on board and the crew was kind enough to put it in the coat closet where he was safe there. I just picked my way out of the aircraft during the landing. I recommend getting at least a soft-padded gig bag for your Takamine.
