You can put a guitar in a shorter box guitar more rigid?
I have a cheap guitar I am learning about and I am planning to eventually buy a better guitar. My current guitar is 43 cm long. I was wondering if when I buy a new guitar, I will be able to use the same hard cover case for the guitar, if less than 43 "long? How comfortable a fit is necessary for the guitar? Thanks! Correction - Is 41 cm long.
I say YES it will fit, and gives you more space if the material, such as your capo, picks, tuners, etc. In addition, your guitar can be hit a little. So I suggest you goin down to the hardware store or something and buy some Styrofoam. Not the kind that gets all the crappy place, but worthy of Styrofoam good, as you can use as a flotation device of a raft. So, take it or cut it yourself to fit the space, where the guitar when the new guitar is the same. When it fits, rip away some of the casing of the case and applying a strong adhesive to the foam and attach it. So go and buy some enclosure that matches the rest of your case so it looks nice. Problem solved!
