Help fender guitar tuner?

Ok, so I'm a guitar player beginner. I only have one cd-60ce fender with a tuner. 'm Clueless how you wear it? There are arrows that flash red if I pull the rope, so I'm assuming that means it is not tuned correctly, but what do I do? Furthermore, it is supposed to know what chord I'm playing, but when I boot or E fund, it appears as D? I think that means is horribly out of tune? PLEASE HELP!

These types of tuners work only when the string is already very close the right note. I have seen people break chains because they were rolling them over and over trying to get the light to light. Some tuners lights to the left and right with a green in the center for when you are in perfect line. I am not sure that his kind is. But I assume the light will do something different when you are. Then you will need to have some kind of fork or some signal (say, a piano, or even your computer) that gives a sound and low. So, it is usually possible to tune your guitar by ear, then just use the on-board tuner to fine tune it to be exact. Oh and one more thing ... MAKE SOME NOISE!

New York guitar phenom walks tall in the blues tradition with this third album, jettisoning fiery riffs inspired by John Lee Hooker, B.B. King, Elmore James, and Albert Collins into the future with furious playing, a hard-rock sensibility, and a grizzled voice that owes a debt to Gregg Allman. Equally inspired by the Delta blues and the mid-'60s British blues boom, the young firebrand--who titled ...
