The Guitar Center has a layaway program?

I am looking to buy a LP Studio Guitar Center and I was wondering if they have a layaway program. I heard they do a credit card of sorts Guitar Center, but they have a layaway program where I can get in, put some money down and make payments regularly until I paid for it and then leave with the guitar? I know of other shops in the area to do so if it does not work, I look around there.

I tried to do the same, but they said you have to get your credit card guitar center and then you can pay with that at about $ 15 a month.
