I just cannot seem to get it !?!?!? guitar

I've been practicing the guitar all the time, since September 2008 and I still can not do anything because progressive on guitar. I have my strings and all that jazz, but when it comes to chord progression I just can not do anything amazing. Looks like I'm losing my time doing nothing when I practice. I love and I'm not giving up! Please help me!
