Guitar Chord Progressions Practice
What are some easy guitar songs to play?
Hey guys .... I recently picked up the guitar again and I am looking for the best way to learn to play .... Some people have told me just play music that you like and you will get it eventually. Others say that learning all chords, notes, chord progressions, etc., and go that route ... What do you think? Also, What are some good songs that I can look up the tabs and play? Any type of music or any song that's slightly easier, or with a little practice I can nail! Thank you!
A take it from experience, learning chords and scales first, and also a little about music theory. I went straight to learn songs that I know and I thought I progressed very quickly due to play for at least 4 hours a day, I probably would have been as good as I am now in much shorter time. So yes learn chords and scales and musical theory first, then when you have the basics down, here are some songs that are easy to play and honestly each guitar beginner learns these songs when you play. Here they are: Iron Man (maybe not the soil, but the riffs sound amazing and are song very easy to play), Smoke on the Water (another sound very cool and very easy), Stairway to Heaven (a little more complicated than the 2 and see how it has to be the chosen finger for the most part, and the ground is definitely not a ground for a beginner to tinker with, but revolves around chords you already know it's gonna goin no doubt), and Smells Like Teen Spirit (another song that's very easy to almost 95% of music is made up of simple chords, and the soil is also very easy, even for a beginner).
