Slowing Down The World is the latest version of the Jazz Superstar Chris Botti, and I can only think of one word to describe this CDÂ ... AWESOME!

The CD starts with an outstanding track, Irresistible Bliss, which I predict will be heard on radio stations everywhere, and deservedly so. It's really a very good track.

Jazz music fans will recognize some of the well known guests that have been assembled to play along with Botti in several of the tracks. Artists like Jeff Lorber, Bob James only to name a few.

IÂ'm the view that the slowdown in the world is certainly the best work of Chris Botti in a few years. CD totally nice and a great launch. What I call must have music. I give it two thumbs up because it is a collection that even the casual fan can Jazz appreciate and enjoy.

While this entire album is really very good the real highlight tunes are track 1 - Irresistible Bliss, track 4 - In The Wee Small Hours, and track 8 - The place between us.
