What is the difference between audio and amplifier and guitar?

The biggest difference is that guitar amps are single channel (mono), while others are generally stereo audio amplifiers. Next big difference is that guitar amps are usually built into a cabinet with a speaker suitable as food amps audio speakers external. An audio amplifier is configured for a wide range of inputs, low-level microphone inputs and outputs rotation high-level tuners and CD players. It is expected to play a wide range of frequencies without distortion. A guitar amp on the other hand, is configured to accept signals only guitar pickup, possibly a microphone. The ability of high frequency, it is not necessary, and very often the tone controls in the pre-amplifier may be intended for intentional introduction of controlled distortion.
