Guitar Classical Music
Alright, anyone want to tell me alittle about what kind of music the classical guitar is / was used in?
It gives me great books and by whom. even contemporary songs. differant types of music!
Well, the term "classical guitar" is somewhat inappropriate. Guitar as we know it was not about the days of Bach, but that does not stop people re-arrange their pieces to fit it today. This represents a challenge, since a guitar can not keep notes as a violin, but can make chords or individual notes. I would recommend Christopher Parkening as a great classical guitarist. He made some great cds pieces of JS Bach. To verify the origins of the modern classical guitar, look at 1800 Spanish music, flamenco or anticipated. Spaniards really made guitar classic it is. The guitar did not become really important instrument in the 20th century, when the bands proliferated, inexpensive, small (ish), instruments became high required. Prior to that, especially the lute and mandolin, instruments of the type (for which you can find pieces that date back to the Middle Ages).
