What is the order in which my effects pedals for electric guitar go?
I was wondering what order my effects pedals should go to my guitar. I own a processor Digitech RP80 Boss DS-1 Distortion Digitech Eric Clapton Crossroads Pedal DOD FX-84 Milk Box Compressor Pedal AW7 Ibanez Tone Lok Autowah Danelectro D-2 Fab Overdrive Danelectro Fab Echo Danelectro Fab Chourus Danelectro Fab Flange Danelectro DJ-4 Corned Beef Reverb and a Boss TU-2 Chromatic Stompbox Tuner can someone help me put these pedals in the right order for my guitar? I like to play a lot of blues and jazz, and my favorite to play is classic rock solos from AC / DC and Guns-n-Roses. I play mostly rock though. The processor is mainly used for the gas side that I can program wah or volume. I do not use very sound, the processor that I sound very digital and fake and my pedals do not sound so they sound and solid clean. Please help, thank you for your time.
You have a lot so I will not address the whole schedule. Just think of it like this - you not want to echo / delay / reverb before a distortion / overdrive unit because it will 'distort' both the original signal and the 'eco'. Even with chorus, flange, wah, etc. Most of compression is placed at the end of the minus sign that you're going to a compressed sound THEN affected. I hope this helps a little. Better path is the experience - that should keep you busy for a while with all this. I tried to stop mines to the basics and not put something in the chain of effects just because I have. Each unit corrups sound a little more. GOOD LUCK!
