What is the best deal on a guitar loop pedal?
I want to get a loop pedal for my guitar (something that can press down play some chords, and then play them back over and over again so I can play on them). Im looking at Guitar Center, but I'm not sure what is the best brand and what exactly I should be looking at one. Basically, please give me advice on a brand, where to get it, how much it should cost and that spec should have. Thank you!
Dude, if you can pay JM4 Line 6 is amazing. It's expensive, $ 329, but calling it a caterpillar is a slap in the face. I bought mine at GC. Is basically just the brains of the Spider Jam. Obviously you can make a loop, but also has hundreds of large models and hundreds of drum tracks, no crap drum machine but how real drummers Carmine Appice, Jason Bonham, etc., laying down killer grooves to play chord progressions more. It also has hundreds of jelly full tracks take longer to play. If you are looping or play with drum / Jam Tracks you can record and over-dub the right JM4. You can save 24 minutes of recording CD's of quality for on-board memory or add an SD card of 2 GB to receive more than 6 hours of recording. You can then transfer to the PC via SD and burn your recordings to CD. There are also entries for bass / keyboard and an XLR input for a vocal mic. You can do basically anything, from this piece of equipment. A little more expensive compared to a regular subscriber station, but is by far the best and most useful thing I've ever purchased on guitar.
