Guitar Effects Schematics

Is there a way to use / make / build an effects pedal guitar from an old Nintendo (NES)?
I have a nintendo old and I was wondering if there is a sound card or chip, or something in it that I could use to build a guitar pedal or something to make sound effects old 8-bit. I do not know much about the circuits, diagrams or anything really electrically, but I really want to know if you can.
It would require much more work than building a root. Ditch the old Nintendo.
