Grain filling for the body electric guitar ash?
I've read that requires ash grain filling before painting. Source used in epoxy black and looked awsome. Any thoughts on what to use? It will be spray painted and clear coated, so grain is not important. I live in a quite area isolated, although there is a Home Depot nearby.
I Spackle used in the past to fill open grain under the paint and it worked well. You can also try filling auto body, they do well for a final coat would be enough to fill fine wood grain.
