Alice In Chains released their latest CD entitled Facelift.
It's a rare day indeed that I get a CD from an artist that I can truthfully say does not have an bad track in the group. I am more than happy to announce that's exactly what I should say about this. There simply is not a bad group. No fillers here at all.
Facelift is nicely varied, mix of 12 tracks that are very well written and brilliantly performed songs by these clearly talented musicians. Most of the songs show much of the kind emotion that makes for a great listen. Clearly drawing from what I can only imagine are their own real life experiences. In different points touching on the most real emotions of love, heartbreak, pain, failed relationships and unattainable romance. They are all here.
If you are a fan Alice In Chains this is a CD of your collection flat can not do without. In fact, this is one of those CDs that you do not even have to be a fan of lname, Rock or even to know is good. It's just good music. Period.
Throughout this CD is remarkable that favorite tunes are track 2 – Man In The Box, complete 9 – Put You Down, and track 12 – Real Thing.
My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [... as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 – We Die Young. Outstanding!
