Guitar Feedback

Why do I get as much feedback from my guitar amp?
I'm trying to play an electric acoustic in a Line 6 amp. It is defined in the clean, without distortion, but I keep getting feedback when I increase the volume (not even the half turned up). any suggestions. sugg first that works = 10 points still does it with no reverb. acute non-performing or triple it doesn't effect he wants. no acute effects he wants. doesn't acute effects he wants.
Unfortunately, this is the nature of the beast when you're playing an acoustic / electric through an amplifier that is not designed for acoustic guitars. Your best bet is to play with the EQ settings. Acoustic feedback is more prevalent around 3000 Hz, so try to reduce the range back. It would be better if you have a rack or a pedal EQ EQ you could call, but he is not so you'll have to play with the settings of your amplifier. You also can try to define its lower gain and turning up the volume master. The two obvious things you should do are (1) making sure the reverb is turned off or at least defined, and (2) make sure you are positioned well away from the amp and not in front of him.
