Could the band 'Van Der Graaf Generator "always be accepted by the current generation?
In today's generation, where rock bands more popular (I use the term loosely rock) are playing just 3 chords and sing the lyrics more whiny about the so-called rebellion. I'm surprised it has never tried an old band progressive rock band called Van Der Graaf Generator. They have very dark letters. Forget about the disruptions and think they are rebelling against o''sistema''. Try prophetic lyrics about disasters, schizophrenia, isolation and insanity. I think they would never be appreciated by emos / goths and punks pop because the sound is dominated the organ and saxophone and guitar bit (so they say it is not rock music but 'old shit ").
If you are the generation now, hats off to you to enjoy Van Der Graaf. That said, if you're into your music, you may also like, if you do not have a Fan, Genesis recordings between 1970-1975. Peter Gabriel was in front of the band during those years, and they sounded nothing like the shit that was to come, since Phil Collins moved the drum chair for the microphone ...
