The chords sound good in harmony?
Do I see a lot of people asking about chord progressions that sound good, but I'm looking at the chords I can play along with another guitar. The chords are E minor, C, G, F #. Which chords sound good while playing these strings? Furthermore, there is a generator, or a list to know which chords can be played in harmony with others?
The chord is the basis for the harmony ..... In fact, the chord is harmony. If you had to touch a chord over another chord guitar, you will not be harmonized with them, you are creating a complex chord. For example. In EG = B. If you were to play a little more than one you would have created a complex chord, which would EGBCEA (I Am inverted). This will only do because you have now changed the whole song structure and melody that was supposed to go on and lower the sound washed. It can be quite limited, but remember, the goal is to define a framework for the melody. Experiment with it to find what you like. Try all of the dominant chords. Or four slowed progression tonic (my personal fav). Its all about you want good but you still have options. Chord extensions will liven things up. Maybe while your partner is playing an E minor, you can play an EM / A, which means putting in a low (AEGB). Or you could measure the rope on top, and while your party is playing the E minor, you can add on 7, 9, and maybe 11 (EGBDFA), in this case, you can leave out the bottom three notes, because your partner will be playing them.
