The exceptionally talented Rock group Goo Goo Dolls have released their CD entitled Dizzy Up The Girl. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe Goo Goo Dolls fans, and Rock fans alike will be pleased with this. With the release of Dizzy Up The Girl their artistic excellence is on full display as they have once again made a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be their best work to date.
Unfortunately, not every day that I get a CD for review I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I can not force me to go. Not in all cases with Dizzy Up The Girl. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.
Dizzy Up The Girl is a pleasantly varied, mix of 13 tracks that are very well written and brilliantly performed songs by these clearly talented musicians. Most of the songs display a lot of type of emotion really makes a great listen. Clearly drawing from what I can only imagine are their own real life experiences. At different points touching on the emotions more real love, heartbreak, pain, failed relationships and unattainable romance. They are all here.
Dizzy Up The Girl CD is a first line, offering a little something for everyone. I give it two thumbs up. He listens very large, simply. A must buy for the Rock fan.
While the entire CD is really very really good tunes favorites are track 4 - January Friend, age 8 - All eyes on me, and track 13 - Hate This Place.
My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [... as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 - Dizzy. Great track!
