What is observed is the Gmaj7 chord?

I know the G7, Gmaj7 but is a mystery to me. Can anyone help out? Or maybe there are sites where I can learn more complicated chords? I'm using a keyboard by the way, so guitar tabs are of no use to me. Thanks in advance for any help. :)
