guitar grounding issues
Guitar grounding problem?

Recently, I had a pod and a rewire done on a Jackson guitar and since I got back there is a buzz horrible when my hands let go of anything metal on the guitar. I looked at the wiring and everything looks real good. I was wondering what could be this, and what I could do to fix this? /

There is nothing wrong with his guitar. Because it was made by a smaller company, the pots do not filter the noise pickups. You are right that this has to do with grounding. The pickups and Output Jack are grounded by the grounding wire going toward the bridge. Buzz that comes from your collectors discharging electricity that can be generated by light bulbs, televisions, radio waves, and even just the wiring of your home! When you play the guitar, your body absorbs this extra electricity that will be built, and the buzz disappears. If you want to get rid of it, tie (or flame if you are brave) a copper line bridge or in a tuning of the heads, then, that the wire tap somewhere in your body. It may be in the arm, chest, or anything. Personally, I run it up to my shoulders below the belt that I use, but it is up to you. The other way to get rid of it would cause some vessels of the highest quality for your guitar. But it could set you back $ 40 for about $ 300, depending on the pots you get.
