Counting Fractions. It is in 4 / 4 time, and beat as one two three and four. I can not play the first note twice, or should I leave the ring for the second note time. It is a quarter note, two eighth hooked together, one quarter note, and then an eighth note. If this sounds confusing, and you have the book, you can just look on page 63? I'm also confused on page 65. Thank you! So two eighth notes in 4 / 4 time equals one beat. I have to play the two notes in a second / beat? Thank you!

Ok in 4 / 4 time a quarter note is one beat, an eighth is a half beat. 4 / 4 time is the easiest, just start hitting the foot 1 2 3 4. each quarter note is a touch of your foot, an octave is two notes by touch, is a trio of three notes by touch
