Ok, well I had a guitar for a very long time, but I recently bought a Les Paul line and really want to start a 2 stomp box "collection" lol but what would be best to start with a lot because I know they have to be in some kind of order. answer please:)
Personally, I think you'd get a great bang for your buck by getting a multi-fx. There are some more surprising the market. Get a Vox Tonelab LE or a Line 6 Pod X3. These are basically all the stomp boxes that you really need a unit, including delays, distortion, etc. They are much easier to use and more intuitive, especially for beginners. Also, if you get a Vox Tonelab LE or a Line 6 Pod X3, you'll never "overcome" because they are as fabulous to use, even a professional level.
