This is a guide to help you overcome the seemingly insurmountable gap in the difficulty settings of which was The Game's largest video sale of 2007 although it was only released in October: Guitar Hero III - Legends of Rock. It is well documented that this game has a number of very large jumps in the technical difficulty The Game. These are known as brick walls. The most obvious are among the main modes of difficulty, Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. However there are other gaps too. They are easy to see when you compare say, 'Hit Me With Your Best Shot "to" Through the Fire and Flames' on almost any difficulty. There simply are not enough songs between these two extremes, the worst difference for me personally was between the tracks later average difficulty and the average Hard.

Gaps general I've seen people complain about are the following:

The 7th and 8th grades of tracks in every difficulty seems to be much more difficult than the rest, esp. "Raining Blood" and other tracks very fast. Difficulties in later sections is specific to these tracks that have become a problem.

The jump between each level of difficulty, especially among medium and hard, IE 'Oh God No What is that something blue / orange on my screen?!

Specific sections of some tracks: As the beginning of "Through the Fire and Flames' on expert, the soil quickly in 'One' on hard and expert and the "Triplets Running 'to' Knights of Cydonia" (DAM them all).

First of all, as I'm sure you've heard before, if you are looking for a guide like this, I will mention that the only way to really improve this game and progress through the modes is more difficult to practice, practice, practice. However, there are practices that can help you and a practice that can actually hinder your progress and lead to bad habits such as never move your fret hand (which can make the jump to the hard way unbreakable (unless you have five fingers and a thumb)).

Let's start at the beginning. If you are having problems with the beginnings of so easy, just the practice of the first songs (Pat Benatar, etc.) until you've gotten a hang of fretting and strumming and all the source material, make sure you run the tutorial at least once (if you're playing on the Xbox360 you will receive an achievement for it anyway, why not?). Once you have a general idea of how to play The Game you can see some bands or small sections of roads seem harder than the rest, get used to it, these are the tracks that will keep you up at 5:17 one night Saturday agitation of all energy drinks you have to try to pump up their reflections. (Actually I think that energy drinks help me play certain tracks, sometimes, but this is probably something to check with your doctor about).

Very soon you will be working your way up through the toughest adjustment easy. Easy is essentially just that, easy. If you have problems with any special track just do it in order to practice until you can maintain a decent grades achieved percentage. The Main to watch the battles are easy. You may not be used using star / functions battle for power or play on lefty flip mode (only one of many attacks of battle that can be used against you), the best practice for this is to play battles against other people (if you can find any). One thing I suggest you do is play each note with the same finger each time. After reach this habit may continue to medium difficulty and if you get bored enough with this style that will make The Game very difficult for you the hard way that is no longer possible after the notes start accelerating and there are five to play.

After finishing the campaign easy you will be adding an extra ticket for the entire mixture in the Middle setting. East is much faster easy, but by this time you will be used to The Game as a whole and you'll probably have a lot of fun. East is in large part, the main difficulty setting that more casual players and other random party goers will play The Game at least until they get used to it as soon as possible. East is essentially the "flesh and blood 'of The Game for a long time. If you have any particular problem, my suggestion is, beyond the normal practice material way, to return to the easy and try to five music stars in the difficulty. Once you can five star hotels that easy without thinking that you should be able to at least give it the medium term. At Sometimes it's best to just leave that band for a while, try to score five or higher / gold star in another band slightly challenging level of difficulty. Invite someone to address some co-op/pro off or find some other way to get some practice in general will not force you to break your controller / gaming system / TV.
