Guitar Improv Lessons

Do you think I could get decent at the piano, if I practiced 3 hours a day this summer?
Do you think I could get decent enough to play piano / keyboards in the band I'm in now I'm a guitarist, but our drummer really wants to play guitar on some songs that I would jut play the piano in those. I took a class about 3 months in a conservatory, you can read music (not well, mostly just read to learn melodies and armor, can not really sight read and forget bass clef), and has 10 years experience in guitar .. Our style is rock / progressive rock / funk / metal anything we feel, so I'm not talking nothing complex as jazz improv and classical recitations, just decent enough to play in a band. I know how to form a few chords and can already play half of the scales larger the circle of 5ths. Do you think I could be worthy enough of September, when we are all going to be in the same rooming house in college together? Thanks
yeah you could and there are a lot of great videos on YouTube! I'll start doing tutorials for chords and scales on the keyboard you can go to http://www.youtube.com/Musicizeme
