Hello, There "best way". Which ever method works for you, use it. Many people learn to play guitar without bothering to learn to read music. Tablature is a quick way to write and read notes of the guitar. I can not understand how to guide would allow you to discover the secrets of quick improvisation. Unless means you do not have to spend time learning to read music. The ability to improvise comes from an understanding of music, whether through the study of music theory or playing experience.
