Guitar Improvise

How do I improvise guitar solos?
I play in a band and I want to learn to improvise. I'm not talking about learning a bunch of licks and then apply them, but as Jimi Hendrix did it, even if he does not have much musical knowledge.
it takes talent and a good ear. Practice scales and then just play what comes natural to you.
