Guitar Jumbo Frets
The guitarist out there, I need some opinions, buzzing issues?
Ok, I have an Ibanez RG321MH with jumbo frets, a couple of weeks after I bought it I noticed a lot of buzzing around the 1st to 4th frets so I took my repair guy and he said that "probably some uneven frets to make a work file (crown) that is. I get it back to take home and note the action sequence is a mile high, but not more busy. ridicule was so I did a new set of myself and it's just a little smaller, but in my opinion still kind of high, but there is some buzz here and there. I do I had a guitar with jumbo frets in a while, it's just inevitable that there will be busy with some jumbo frets? WTF? What do you think?
Ibanez makes a great job in their guitars and I doubt if it was a problem fret. Most likely, the neck is warped. take you to a qualified technician, is certified by Ibanez. The jumbo frets buzz = no problems. does hum when playing chords or just simple things note? You recently changed the strings? and the size of strings? You only notice the problem when the guitar is unplugged or you hear it when the guitar is connected? Is the guitar recently fallen or slipped off some thing, knocked off the stand? you hang it, put it in the case, leave it standing or leaning against something? All these are questions to help diagnose the problem. If "your face" do not ask any one of those who have no business filing frets.
