Most musical instruments can be played equally well by those who are either left or right hand, and passage of a right handed one for a musician with left-handed the same instrument is generally not a problem. However, if the guitar is not always true, and although some of guitars can be delivered from a right person surrendered to a left-handed one without any problem or difficulty, there are many cases in which a guitar is very well designed for someone who is specifically right hand to prevent a left-handed person can play it at all, or at least not effectively.
Guitars can often be built specifically for a left-handed or a right-handed person, and there is a marked difference between the role of the dominant hand and a secondary. Thus, if a right-handed person, the dominant hand was his right, with his left hand is considered the secondary side. The reason for the hands being used this way round may seem strange at first sight, since, for a right-handed person, it seems that the left is doing more work for the construction of a complex sequence of chords.
Often, for a beginner, one of the biggest challenges is simply to be able to train the hand secondary physically bend, twist and stretch the strings, secondary because our hands are not as skilled or flexible as our loved and dominant, although in normal daily life, this is never really noticeable (unless you try to write with his hand secondary), when playing a guitar becomes very noticeable. There are some people who do not believe that the option to play both the left or right hand should be available, and that everyone should play the instruments the same way, with left-handed people holding a guitar or a violin the same way as a well delivered, but these people usually a minority. It is unlikely that the normalization the guitars and violins is likely to occur, since there is already a wide variety of styles, models and many custom options available to players, and many people to develop their own style of music and performance through the natural way in which to hold the instrument.
Certainly with famous left-handed guitarists, including names like Jimi Hendrix, Paul McCartney and Kurt Cobain, it is unlikely that left-handed guitarists will be forgotten.
