connect guitar to PC?
I saw a lot of places for this using only the power to the line in the PC ... this may not be the microphone ... I'm using a laptop and has only the microphone in. I also noticed a 1 / 4 "with a USB cable .. has anyone used any of these and how good they are? http://www.soundtech.com/lightsnake/index.asp I was thinking of USB, if there was a problem with the mic that's all ... just covering all my bases: o)
The audio is the audio - it is not difficult give up a guitar jack to the microphone cable - I do it with my guitar all the time. Simply adjust the gain on your microphone port accordingly, and do not forget it is not muted (double click on the small speaker icon next to the clock's point of view - - advanced - and turn everything) I do not know why you want, or need, a USB gadget to do this unless you are going through some transformation midi - There are USB to MIDI converters readily available.
