Guitar Magazines List

Abbey Road was the last studio album The Beatles recorded. There is some confusion about this piece of trivia because Let It Be was released in 1970 and Abbey Road was released in 1969. But Let It Be actually had already been recorded, he had just been shelved because the band being unhappy with it. It was not until Abbey Road had been recorded released and that the band hired Phil Specter to "save" Let It Be with your production work.
Abbey Road was a huge commercial and critical success. It remains one of the most popular albums Beatles to this day.
Abbey Road has also been acclaimed by critics. For example, was ranked # 14 in the list of Rolling Stone's 500 greatest albums of all time. It is currently ranked as the 2nd best album of all time by users of the site Rate Your Music.
Track to track:
# 1 "Come Together"
This is one of the best known songs on the album. Lyrics complete with signature vocals and strange John Lennon, George Harrison guitar licks of great leadership, and the bottom of Paul McCartney swamp that has really put the music over the edge.
It is the best sounding Beatles songs, but strangely enough - is also one of their songs that was ruined in most cover versions. In fact I never I heard a cover version of "Come Together", which was not horrible.
A bit of trivia about disturbing "Come Together" is that John Lennon is really saying "shoot me" during the breaks little compatibility between the chorus and verses. This letter is always for me a little more considering the fate of Lennon in 1980.
2. "Something"
"Something" is another of the best known songs of the album. Was written and sung by George Harrison and is one of his signature songs.
Frank Sinatra once famously commented that "Something" was his favorite Lennon-McCartney song. Not sure if this was an insult aimed at Lennon-McCartney Sinatra or really did not know that the song was written by George Harrison & Lennon & Not McCartney.
3. "Maxwell's Silver Hammer"
A fairy tale of some concern a serial killer, "Maxwell's Silver Hammer is one of the Beatles songs is has both detractors and it's supporters. Among the detractors is apparently John Lennon was said to have despised music (which was written and sung by Paul McCartney).
The song is one of the first to feature the Moog synthesizer.
4. Oh Darling! "
While Lennon "McCartney hated by Maxwell's Silver Hammer," he loved his "Oh Darling!". Actually, he was so enchanted with the music I wanted to sing lead on it.
5. "Octopus's Garden"
Ringo sings in this one. He also wrote the music (with some help from George Harrison although Ringo Starr is credited as the composer only.) It's basically a remake of "Yellow Submarine" the Beatles had recorded 3 years earlier.
6. "I Want You (She's So Heavy)"
This epic, mostly instrumental, ends off the track one side of Abbey Road in style with his incredible trick accumulation white noise that blows my mind every time I hear it.
It really features some of the most interesting Beatles musically innovative.
7. "Here Comes The Sun"
This is another classic George Harrison, who is the perfect follow up to "I Want You" on CD / iTunes / iPod format and the perfect opening to the side in two old vinyl LP format. The song, as "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" features the Moog synthesizer.
8. "Because"
This awesome song presents some of the most beautiful harmonies Beatles. Vocals Lennon, McCartney, Harrison and were screened three times to make them sound like voices 9.
The chords of the song was inspired by the work of Ludwig van Beethoven piano classic "Moonlight Sonata".
The song also features the Moog synthesizer.
# 9 "You Never Give Me Your Money"
This was the first song of side two of the medley. Some of the tunes heard in this song echoed later in full 15 "Carry That Weight."
While the music is just the beginning of side two of the medley, it's actually a medley itself, because it contains a few very different sections stitched it sound.
# 10 "Sun King"
This beautiful song slow motion features beautiful harmonies of Lennon, McCartney, Harrison &. The lyrics include the words from different languages, real and imagined.
# 11 "Mean Mr. Mustard "
This short song Lennon leads directly to the next "Polythene Pam" and mentions "his sister Pam" in the lyrics.
# 12 "Polythene Pam"
"Then look good, but it looks like a man." This is a wide range of rock n roll the clocks in just over a minute long.
# 13 "She Came In Through The Bathroom Window"
"Polyethylene Pam" segues smoothly for this song that begins with its title as the first lyric. It's one of my favorite songs on the album.
# 14 "Golden Slumbers"
The lyrics of this song were taken from a 17th century poem by Thomas Dekker. But the music was composed by Paul McCartney.
# 15 "Carry That Weight "
The chorus of this song features all four Beatles. Part of the song references the melody / lyrics of "You Never Give Me Your Money ".
# 16 "The End"
Features a drum solo from Ringo Starr (the only drum solo on every song the Beatles) and short guitar solos McCartney, Harrison and Lennon - one after the other, in that order. They go through this sequence twice before the end "and at the end the love you take is equal to the love you make. "
# 17 "Her Majesty"
This 23 second acoustic guitar song by Paul McCartney was originally intended to be used between "Mean Mr. Mustard" and "Polythene Pam" but decided to let him off the album. Indeed, it was preached on the album at the end of the engineer by mistake, The Beatles, but decided that they liked the message and left it on the album.
