Why the music game is not just a natural talent

Last night, while lounging on my couch with a friend to watch television, I flipped through the channels of tripping a woman playing the piano as if it were as easy as a simple walk in the park. The sound that came out of his carefree gesture fast fingers, made me think how you can have both hands working on two different chords on different sides of the piano. This then made me realize that is exactly what I do when I play my bass guitar.

When watching this game, woman, I found myself in a deep discussion with my friend about whether it is a natural talent for music or if he really is a long time of practice to make perfect. I refuse to believe that every time I go into a guitar store that every person there to look the guitars are "naturally" endowed with the music or have a natural talent "for music. Similar to the woman playing piano, would have taken many years of practice to be as good as that.

On my last visit to my local guitar shop to pick up a book tabs, I found myself talking to someone about I had never played a piece of music for "The Doors". This just happened this store said provided a guide book for that person and that surprised me. He simply perched on the book against the wall, sat with his guitar and started playing like true professionals, no problem, just from reading the tablature.

I was amazed, but when I think about it more logical, this man had the experience of twenty years of playing guitar I was playing my bass. So after years of experience he was able to play anything for the first almost perfectly. It would seem that this man could play any piece of music set on him, and therefore their dedication to playing the guitar was made through his outstanding performance in guitar store.

Musicians, artists, writers, actors, dancers and people within the creative industry will know very well that to become good at something you have to practice to perfection, or practice until you never get it wrong. The same goes for any profession or hobby, which includes people at sporting events or even in the entertainment industry. To truly master touch a musical instrument, one needs to do more than just a few visits to the music store or buy books and guitar accessories.

Much of this should be mirrored by dedication to practice and really play the instrument. The first time I had started playing the bass was not so long ago, but I remember get her all excited and eager to play only to discover that I had no idea what I was doing. The first thing I wanted to do was learn some tunes down some popular rock music. While doing this I decided to learn some impressive tricks and techniques that would help me play better.

Those wanting to learn to play an instrument will start to find their feet to learn to play and try to play music that interests them. This means spending much time alone over the same song again and again. Vai be frustrating, painful and even work at the moment but you will quickly adjust to this and once you see the improvements in your game, you'll never want to stop. Often you will find when playing the guitar, you can improvise and create their own music, this is a good sign of progress and it is worth recording these if you can.

When playing in front of people, their nerves will be playing upside down in the pit of your stomach, even if the audience is yours family! For people who do not know how to play a musical instrument, you will see a musical genius, with a "natural talent" for music.

If it's something you're born with or has a strong interest in, nothing can be ruled out that this practice is the key. It is true that some people are endowed with power to learn more faster than others are capable of, but whatever the learning rate power you have familiarity with practice comes, clarity and perfection. Therefore, key to becoming a good musician is to practice, practice, practice some more.
