guitar melody lessons

It would be nice to be able to play the hit songs you hear on the radio and be able to play them on your guitar even without tabs or sheet music!

In this guitar lesson we will use Every Breath You Take as an example.

The songs you hear hits are usually protected by copyright and should not be found as free sheet music on the internet and really do not like tab or without the permission of the copyright owner.

However I can tell you I personally saved a lot of money with my ability to play songs I hear by ear. I do not have to buy sheet music and can also play as they are heard on the radio or make a solo guitar version of them.

To be able to play music on your guitar by ear you have to develop your ear and ability to meet around the fretboard of the guitar.

In this guitar lesson I will show you how to play "Every Breath You Take" in the key of G. This means that you can not play along with the original version by the police and Sting, but I think it will be easier to play the melody on his guitar in this key.

Guitar Lesson Part 1

The verse begins with the words "Every Breath You Take"

The strings of your guitar will be:

G CDG

The notes of the melody that you will need to play this song will be:

GABCD

A melody very economical, both and notes of the melody are concerned. But as you Play the notes on your guitar?

I'll show you these notes with a form of guitar tablature that will show sites correctly in articles like this. Some examples:

23 means that you press down on the second fret third string.

03 means you play the third string open. This means that you play the third string with your right hand without pressing a fret.

In other words, the first number indicates which fret to press down the second number, that sequence.

Guitar lesson part 2

Let's go back to the melody notes you need to first verse:

GABCD

With guitar tablature PREVIOSLY said the notes will look like this:

03 23 02 12 32

I will not show you the melody. You are supposed to learn to discover it for yourself. I will only help him, saying that the first note to play is B and is denoted 02.

Guitar lesson part 3

Let's take a look at the song begins with the words "Oh, you do not can see "

The chords are (slightly simplified):

CTAG

This part begins with the note G symbolized 03.

The notes you need to use are:

G # GA BDEF

and they are noted like this:

03 02 32 01 21 31 51

This melody begins with the note G symbolized 03.

I will not help you more than that, this guitar lesson. The best way to learn the melody is by trial and error.

In the process of learning this melody that you will also develop your ear and your ability to find their way back on your guitar.

This means that the melody follows will try to learn will probably be easier to learn!

You can prepare to pick up tunes on his guitar, doing the two exercises:

1. Learn scales on his guitar. Learn to play the scales up and down.

2. When you know a good scale you can improvise simple melodies and play with the scale and at the same time, you will learn to find your way around the guitar.

The more you learn scales and create their own melodies on your guitar easier you'll have to figure out how a certain melody can be played on your guitar.
